"I tell you only this, you can not imagine what happens over here. You should have seen how we entered the city after victorious struggle. Everyone we met was cut down, men, women, children. Oh, how the women screamed. But the Kaiser's order war : pardon will not be given. We have sworn faithfulness and obedience, and we have to keep our oath."
