I have circumvented Buschiru, who pillages Usaramo Region with 6000 men from the Wasite tribe, from Dar-es-Salam via Madimola, have raided his camp, in the process of which I repelled three Wasite attacks. A second detachment on the Kingani also fought minor skirmishes. Will pursue the fleeing Wasite tonight. On our side 7 dead and wounded, no Europeans.

Victorious skirmish against rebels near Somwe, the enemy lost 30 dead, we 1 dead, two wounded. In Mpwapwa, to atone for the murder of Nielsen 2), 3 Arabs were executed. The natives, which have been forthcoming everywhere, have handed over cannon 3).

The hinterland between Dar-es-Salam and Bagamoyo, up to 4 days' journey inland, is cleared of the enemy. Dispersed Wasite are slain everywhere by the natives and by patrols, found over 400 dead. Our losses 7 dead, 3
wounded. Have established communication with Wissmann.
