Latour, Theodor Baillet von, Count, son of the former, Austrian military officer, born in 1780, became quartermaster general in 1846, and on April 29th 1848 minister of war, in the building of which in Vienna he was murdered by the mob in the most cruel way when the revolution broke out on October 6th that year.

Latour, Theodor Count Baillet von, son of the former, born on June 15th 1780 in Linz, died on October 6th 1848, distinguished himself in the War of Liberation, became general in 1815 and quartermaster general in 1846. In the March days of 1848 appointed minister of war, during the October Revolution, in the course of the storming of the war ministry he was murdered by the mob.
