Peasant Rebellion in Hungary, Comitat Eisenburg (Vasvar), 1765-1766




In 1765, the peasants living on the domains of the Batthyany family in the Eisenburg (in Hungarian : Vasvar) Comitat (County) became unruly; in January 1766, 125 villages refused any corvee labour, 51 villages partially refused corvee labour.
