Outstanding Papers of Fall 2008 :

Overall Best Paper :

11th waver Lee, Junoh, History of Conflict Between Korean Oriental Medical Science and Western Medical Science

Lee, Junoh, who considered a career in Oriental medicine, chose to write on this topic and established his own source base. When he began, he tried to prove his hypothesis right that the Japanese administration of Colonial Korea would be to blame for the decline of Oriental medicine in the country. In the course of his studies, he had to revise his hypothesis; he could not find evidence which would prove a bias of the Japanese colonial administration against Oriental medicine. An example for answering a question based on independent, methodical research.
