This profile is based on the tradition of an
inner-school reform
and furthermore on new thoughts about how school education can
be modified and bettered.
This process of systematical research on this matter was started
in autumn 1994.
On 26th. April 1995 the staff of our school has defined the profile
of the "Emil-Thoma-Realschule" more precisely. They developed the
picture of three columns which are the basis of all educational work: First column "Everyday's work", second column "Communication" between all members of the school, third column "Innovation". |
Something very special is our"International Class" for foreign students, which has been introduced in 1988/89. In the whole of Baden-Württemberg there are only three of this type of special-schools, in which foreign students are helped to become integrated in Germany. Very typical for this profile of "Emil-Thoma-Realschule" are school activities like a music club, a drama group and a circus club, which pupils of all ages may join into. |
