Second Genoese-Savoyard War, 1672-1673




In 1672, Duke Charles Emmanuel II. of Savoy-Piemont, after having seen the failure of a conspiracy of Raffaele della Torre in Genova, repeatedly attacked Genoese territory. No major battle occurred; on January 18th 1673, peace was concluded.
