Madras Presidency Mysore

In 1834 the Princely State of Coorg was annexed by Madras Presidency and established as Coorg District.
In 1947 Coorg joined the Indian Union. In 1956 it was annexed into Mysore State, which in 1973 was renamed Karnataka.

Modern spelling : Kodagu.
